Monitoring Switch Performance Using IP Statistics

This section provides detailed information on the analysis and use of IP and IP multicast statistics.

IP routing statistic options include:

Displaying Global IP Routing Statistics

Searching the IP Routing Table

Examining the IP Routing Table Statistics

Searching the IP ARP Cache

Displaying Global IP Routing Statistics

Note: IP routing global statistics only represent traffic processed by the supervisor module software.

To display the global IP routing statistics:

1.In the IP Display section of the Web Agent window, click Global Statistics. The IP Routing Global Statistics dialog box opens.

2.Click Refresh to update all statistics. Or

Click Clear to set all statistics to zero.

3.Use Table 7-11to review the definition of each statistic:
