7.5X-Rite Calibration

NOTE

•Start up the External Panel Controller on the Notebook PC before turning on the printer.

•If an error message appears, follow the instructions described in the message.

•Do not quit the External Panel Controller while it is being used. If it is quit, restart the printer and the External Panel Controller.

4.Check that the External Panel Controller appears in the computer screen, and then display the Tech. Rep. Mode screen. (For details about displaying the Tech. Rep. Mode screen, refer to the Service Manual.)

NOTE

If the basic screen does not appear in the External Panel Controller, turn the printer off. Restart the External Panel Controller, and then turn the printer on again.

1.Start up the External Panel Controller on the Notebook PC.

2.Set the power switch to “I”.
