Proper care and maintenance will keep your TabletPC working and in good condition for a
long time. For general information about care of the TabletPC and its components and
accessories, see the Safety and Regulatory Guide included with your TabletPC.
This chapter describes the care and maintenance procedures for your XX1x00 TabletPC.
WARNIN G: Follow the guidelines listed below when caring for your TabletPC and its
components. Improper use may damage the TabletPC and its components and void the
warranty.

General care

•Protect the TabletPC from exposure to extreme temperatures, shock, liquids, and strong
magnetic fields.
•If you are storing the TabletPC for a long time, unplug the power adapter and remove
the battery after partially discharging it.
•Do not place heavy objects on top of the TabletPC.
•Do not open the TabletPC case or you will void the warranty.
