Preparing to use your MC35

To install the battery pack:

Align the tabs on the battery pack with the grooves on the rear side of the device, and then insert the battery pack in place. The battery pack locks to the chassis with an audible click.

To uninstall the battery pack:

1If the device is on, press the Power button to turn off the device. Wait for five seconds to allow the device to completely power off.

Slide the battery latch toward the unlock icon

to release the battery pack from

 

the chassis (1).

Completely detach the battery pack from the device (2).

Charging the MC35

Initial charging of a standard life battery takes about four hours. The extended life battery type requires at least eight hours. After the initial charging, charge your device everyday to restore the battery to full capacity. Charge your device using the AC adapter cable, see instructions below.

While waiting for the initial charging to complete, install Microsoft® ActiveSync® 4.2 or higher on your computer to prepare for the initial synchronization procedure. Refer to the next section for instructions.

To charge your device:

NOTE: Use the clip plug applicable in your country.
