Wireless communication features

You can use your MC35 to exchange information with other mobile devices and connect to your computer, a network, or the Internet. You have the following connection options:

Use the infrared sensor or the Bluetooth function to exchange files from another IR- or Bluetooth-enabled device.

Use a GPRS or WiFi connection to send and receive e-mail messages by using Messaging; and view Web or WAP pages by using Internet Explorer Mobile. Contact your mobile phone service provider to have your WAP or GPRS connection activated.

Beam function

In a Microsoft Windows Mobile program (except Messaging), and Picture & Videos, you can exchange files using either infrared or Bluetooth.

TIP: You can also beam files (not folders) from the File Explorer screen. To do, tap and hold the item you want to send, then tap Beam File from the pop-up menu.

First activate the beam function before exchanging files with another IR- or Bluetooth- enabled device.

To activate the Beam function:

1Tap > Settings .

2On the Connections tab, tap Beam .

3Tap “Receive all incoming beams” check box.

4 Tap ok.
