Abbreviated Dial

Abbreviated Dialing is another form of speed dialing. If the last four or five digits you enter do not match any stored Phone Book entry, the digits are automatically prefixed with the digits specified using the following steps.

1.Press - (Menu) or K to access the main menu.

2.Select Settings and press K or - (Select).

3.Select Others and press K or - (Select).

4.Select Abbrev. Dial and press K or - (Select).

5.Select On or Off with the Navigation key and press K or - (Select). If you selected On:

Read the message and press K or - (OK).

Enter 5 or 6 digits using the number editor.

Press K or - (Save) to save it.

Auto Redial

Auto Redial feature can be used to retry the call without user intervention to allows your phone to redial if a call attempt fails due to a busy network condition. If Auto Redial is ON, the phone will attempt to place the call every 10 seconds for up to 5 times.

1.Press - (Menu) or K to access the main menu.

2.Select Settings and press K or - (Select).

3.Select Others and press K or - (Select).

4.Select Auto Redial and press K or - (Select).

5.Select On or Off with the Navigation key.

6.Use the L/R buttons on the Navigation key to scroll through the Auto Redial On and Off options.

7.To save the setting and move to the next menu item, press K or - (Select).
