Answering Calls

To answer an incoming call:

1.Make sure your phone is on. (If your phone is off, incoming calls go to voicemail.)

2.Press Nto answer an incoming call.

Press Answer (left softkey).

Depending on your phone’s settings, you may also answer incoming calls by pressing any key or by opening the phone when it is closed. See “Call Answer Mode” on page 63 for more information.

Your phone notifies you of incoming calls in the following ways:

The phone rings or vibrates.

The backlight illuminates.

The display screen shows an incoming call notification. If the incoming call is from a number stored in your Contacts, the entry’s name or number appears.

Answering a Roam Call With Call Guard Enabled

Call Guard is an option that helps you manage your roaming charges when making or receiving calls while outside the Sprint National Network. Please see “Controlling Your Roaming Experience” on page 76 for more information about roaming.

To answer a call when you are roaming and Call Guard is enabled:

Select Answer to answer the call.
