A STS-1 managed DS1 facility is cross connected to other endpoints in the NE together with the other 27 DS1 facilities in one of the three facility groups on the OC-3 card on the DSM by connecting the STS1 that corresponds to that group of facilities. Table 2-29 on page 2-145provides the STS1 endpoints to DS1 facility grouping assignments.
