The 32 wavelengths are divided into eight bands of four channels each, all of which are transmitted over a single optical fiber and can be managed separately.

Sixteen C-Band wavelengths and sixteen L-Band wavelengths along with four additional wavelengths 1534.04 nm, 1555.75 nm, 1578.69 nm and 1596.34 nm wavelengths are supported for the OC-48 DWDM circuit packs. See Table 2-7for wavelength details.
