Data Line Security

Your extension is protected against interruptions from the “Call Waiting”, “Hold Recall”, and “Executive Busy Override” features. Data communication devices, such as computers and facsimiles, operate uninterrupted.

1.Lift the handset or press the SP-PHONE/MONITORbutton.

2.Dial the feature number (730).

3.Dial 1 or 0.

-1 : to set

-0 : to cancel

•You hear a confirmation tone and then a dial tone.

•The display shows:

Data Mode On — (when setting)

Data Mode Off

— (when canceling)

4.Hang up or press the SP-PHONE/MONITOR button.

Conditions

•The “Privacy Release” feature can be activated.

•With the KX-T7431, KX-T7433, KX-T7436 and KX-T7235, you can set or cancel this feature using the display operation.
