Handset Indicator:
The handset does not
ring.
LThe ringer volume is turned off. Adjust the volume
(page 86).
LThe silent mode is on. Change the silent mode to off
(page 71).
LCheck your Skype online status. If your Skype online
status is “Do not disturb”, the handset does not ring.
Change your Skype online status (page 103).
I cannot make a Skype-
to-Skype call.
LCheck that Skype name you are making a call is
correct.
I cannot make a
SkypeOut call.
LEnter the phone number including country code (page
84).
LCheck your Skype credit (page 131).
I cannot send a
voicemail.
LCheck your Skype Voicemail subscription (page 131).
I cannot record my
greeting.
LCheck your Skype Voicemail subscription (page 131).
I cannot receive a call. LCheck your Skype online status. If your are using
“Offline”, you cannot receive a call. Change your Skype
online status (page 103).
The diverting calls do not
work.
LCheck that the number or Skype name you are
forwarding to is entered correctly.
LCheck your Skype credit if you are forwarding to the
number (page 131).
Problem Cause/Solution
Charge Indicator is
flashing in red, except for
when the handset is
receiving calls or is being
located by the base unit.
LBattery or charging error occurred.
Follow the instructions on the handset display if the
error message appears. If the message does not
appear, check the battery or charge cable connection.
