Description

[IP Address]

LEnter the IP address and subnet mask assigned by your

 

Internet service provider or the hotel you are staying in in

 

each data field.

[Subnet Mask]

LSet 4 numbers (0 – 255) separated by periods such as

 

“192.168.102.253”.

 

Note:

 

LThere are some restrictions on IP address entry. For

 

example, “0.0.0.0” and “255.255.255.255” are not available.

[Default Gateway]

LEnter the default gateway address assigned by your Internet

 

service provider or the hotel you are staying in in each data

 

field.

[DNS Server 1]

LIf you have the DNS (Domain Name System) server

 

addresses assigned by your Internet service provider or the

 

hotel you are staying in, enter them in this data field. They

 

usually have two addresses.

[DNS Server 2]

LSet 4 numbers (0 – 255) separated by periods such as

 

“192.168.102.253”.

 

Note:

 

LThere are some restrictions on IP address entry. For

 

example, “0.0.0.0” and “255.255.255.255” are not available.

[Domain Name]

LIf you have the domain name assigned by your Internet

 

service provider or the hotel you are staying in, enter domain

 

name (1 – 255 characters) in this data field.

[MTU]

LMTU is the maximum size of packet that can be sent.

 

LIf you have the MTU value assigned by your Internet service

 

provider or the hotel you are staying in, enter the MTU value

 

(576 – 1500) in this data field. Otherwise you need to leave

 

the default MTU value (1500).
