Important:

•When a terminal that receives e-mails is not compatible with UTF-8 encode, it is impossible to receive alarm mails correctly.

*1 • When entering the host name for "SMTP server address" or "POP server address", it is necessary to con- figure the DNS settings on the [Network] tab of the "Network" page. (☞ Page 54)

*2 • The following port numbers are unavailable since they are already in use. 20, 21, 23, 42, 53, 67, 68, 69, 80, 110, 123, 161, 162, 995, 10 669, 10 670

*3 • When you don't know the authentication method to send e-mails, refer to the network administrator.
