Table A-3. System Options (2 of 2)

Telco Initiated Loopback

Possible Settings: Enable, Disable

Default Setting: Enable

Determines if the unit will respond to inband loopback commands on the DSX-1 interface. See Telco-Initiated Tests on page 5-9.

Enable ± The unit will respond to inband loopback commands.

Disable ± The unit will not respond to inband loopback commands.

Remote Telco Loopback

Possible Settings: Enable, Disable

Default Setting: Disable

Determines if the unit will perform a Telco-initiated loopback on just the local unit or if the loopback will be performed on the remote DSL unit. See Telco-Initiated Tests on page 5-9.

Enable ± The loopback will be in the remote unit.

Disable ± The loopback will be local.
