Ifyou are using this unit in North, Central or
SouthAmerica, reset the AM tuning step (see
Settingthe AM tuning step on page 82).

Showswhich source has been selected.
2Bandindicator
Showswhich band the radio is tuned to, AM
orFM.
3Presetnumber indicator
Showswhich preset has been selected.
4Frequencyindicator
Showsto which frequency the tuner is
tuned.
5Presetlist display
Showsthe preset list.
6STEREOindicator
Showsthat the frequency selected is being
broadcastin stereo.
7LOCALindicator
Showswhen local seek tuning is on.
1 Touchthe source icon and then touch
TUNERto select the tuner.
#Whenthe source icon is not displayed, you
candisplay it by touching the screen.
2 Touchthe screen to display the touch
panelkeys.
3 TouchBAND to select a band.
TouchBAND repeatedly until the desired band
isdisplayed, FM1,FM2,FM3 for FM or AM.
4 Toperform manual tuning, briefly
touchcor d.
Thefrequencies move up or down step by
step.
#Youcan also perform manual tuning by mov-
ingthe joystick left or right.
5 Toperform seek tuning, keep touching
cordfor about one second and release.
Thetuner will scan the frequencies untila
broadcaststrong enough for good reception is
found.
#Youcan cancel seek tuning by briefly touching
eithercor d.
#Ifyou keep touching cor dyou can skip sta-
tions.Seek tuning starts as soon as you release
thekey.
#Youcan also perform seek tuning by holding
thejoystick left or right.
Note
Ifyou do not use the touch panel keys within 30
seconds,they will be hidden automatically.
