1Functiondisplay
Showsthe function names.
%TouchA.MENU and then touch
FUNCTIONto display the function names.
Thefunction names are displayed and oper-
ableones are highlighted.
#WhenA.MENU is not displayed, you can dis-
playit by touching the screen.
#Youcan also display MENU by clicking the
joystick.
#Toreturn to the previous display, touch BACK.
#Toreturn to the frequency display, touch ESC.
Note
Ifyou do not operate the function within about 30
seconds,the display is automatically returned to
thefrequency display.
Storing and recallingbroadcast frequencies
Ifyou touch any of the preset tuningkeys
P1P6you can easily store up to six broad-
castfrequencies for later recall with the touch
ofa key.
%Whenyou find a frequency that you
wantto store in memory keep touching
oneof preset tuning keys P1P6 until the
presetnumber stops flashing.
Thenumber you have touchedwill flash in the
presetnumber indicator and then remain lit.
Theselected radio station frequency has been
storedin memory.
Thenext time you touch the same preset tun-
ingkey the radio station frequency is recalled
frommemory.
#Whenthe touch panel keys are not displayed,
youcan display them by touching the screen.
#WhenP1P6 are not displayed, you can dis-
playthem by touching DISP.
Notes
!Upto 18 FM stations, six for each of the three
FMbands, and six AM stations can be stored
inmemory.
!Youcan also use aand bto recall radio sta-
tionfrequencies assigned to preset tuning
keysP1P6.
Tuningin strong signals
Localseek tuning lets you tune in only those
radiostations with sufficiently strong signals
forgood reception.

2 Touchato turn local seek tuning on.
#Toturn local seek tuning off, touch b.
3 Touchcor dto set the sensitivity.
Thereare four levels of sensitivity for FM and
twolevels for AM:
