Adjusting the pictureadjustment
Youcan adjust BRIGHT (brightness),
CONTRAST(contrast), COLOR (color) and
HUE(hue) for each source and rear view cam-
era.
!Theadjustments of BRIGHT and
CONTRASTare stored separately for light
ambient(daytime) and dark ambient (night-
time).A sun ormoon isdisplayed to
theleft of BRIGHT and CONTRAST, respec-
tively,as the ambient light sensor deter-
minesbrightness or darkness.
!Youcannot adjust HUE for PAL video.
!Youcannot adjust COLOR or HUE for the
audiosource.
1 PressV.ADJ and hold to display
PICTUREADJUST.
PressV.ADJ until PICTURE ADJUST appears
inthe display.
#Youcannot use MENU on the remote control.
2 Touchany of the following touch panel
keysto select the function to be adjusted.
Theadjustment function names are displayed
andadjustable ones are highlighted.
!BRIGHTAdjust the black intensity
!CONTRASTAdjust the contrast
!COLORAdjust the color saturation
!HUEAdjust the tone of color (red is em-
phasizedor green is emphasized)

#Youcan adjust the picture adjustment for rear
viewcamera only when BACK UP CAMERA is
turnedon. (Refer to Setting for rear view camera
onpage 86.)
#Withsome backup cameras, picture adjust-
mentmay not be possible.

Eachtime you touch or itincreases or
decreasesthe level of selected item. +24 24
isdisplayed as the level is increased or de-
creased.

Adjusting the dimmer

Theadjustment of DIMMER is stored sepa-
ratelyfor each ambient light; daytime, evening
andnighttime. The brightness of LCD screen
willbe adjusted to optimum level automati-
callyin accordance with the ambient light
basedon the setting values.
1 PressV.ADJ and hold to display
PICTUREADJUST.
PressV.ADJ until PICTURE ADJUST appears
inthe display.
2 TouchDIMMER.
Theambient light level used as the standard
foradjusting DIMMER appears above the level
bar.
!Orangesun Adjustthe brightness for
brightambient light (daytime)
!Redsun Adjustthe brightness for in-
termediatebrightness (evening)
!Yellowmoon Adjustthe brightness for
darkambient light (nighttime)
3 Touch or to adjust the brightness.
Eachtime you touch or movesyellow to-
wardsthe left or the right.
Thelevel indicates the brightness of the
screenbeing adjusted. The farther yellow
movesto the right, the brighter the screen.
4 TouchESC to hide the touch panel keys.
