Correcting distorted sound
Youcan minimize distortion that may be
causedby the equalizer curve settings.
Settingan equalizer level high can cause dis-
tortion.If high sound is crippled ordistorted,
tryswitching to LOW. Normally, leave the set-
tingat HIGH to ensure quality sound.
!Onlywhen the multi-channel processor
(e.g.,DEQ-P7650) is connected to this unit,
youcan operate this function.

touchDIGITAL ATT.
2 Touch or to switch the digital at-
tenuatorsetting.
Touch toselect low setting and LOW ap-
pearsin the display. Touch to select high
settingand HIGH appears in the display.
Switching the soundmuting/attenuation
Soundfrom this system is muted or attenu-
atedautomatically when a call is made or re-
ceivedusing a cellular telephone connected to
thisunit.
!Thesound is turned off, MUTE or ATT is
displayedand no audio adjustment is pos-
sible.
!Operationreturns to normal when the
phoneconnection is ended.

Switching the automaticdisc playback
Youcan turn automatic disc playback on or off
whenyou insert a disc into the disc loading
slot.When this function is on,the disc will be
automaticallyplayed after it is inserted into
thedisc loading slot.

Switching the dimmersetting for sub-display
Toprevent the sub-display from being too
brightat night, the sub-display is automati-
callydimmed when the car s headlights are
turnedon. You can turn dimmer on or off.
