Searching for a desired
scene, starting playbackfrom a specified time
Youcan use the search function to search for
adesired scene by specifying a track, and the
timesearch function to specify the time on a
discat which play starts.
!Duringplayback of Video CDs featuring
PBC(playback control), this function can-
notbe operated.
!Timesearch is not possible when disc play-
backhas been stopped.
1 TouchA.MENU and FUNCTION and then
SEARCH.
2 TouchTRACK (track) or TIME (time).
3 Touch09 to input the desired num-
ber.
Fortracks
!Toselect 3, touch 3.
!Toselect 10, touch 1and 0in that order.
!Toselect 23, touch 2and 3in that order.
Fortime (time search)
!Toselect 21 minutes 43 seconds, touch 2,
1,4and3in that order.
!Toselect 1 hour 11 minutes, convert the
timeinto 71 minutes 00 seconds and touch
7,1,0and0in that order.
#Tocancel the inputted numbers, touch C.
#Youcan also input the desired number by
usingthe joystick and 0-9.
4 Whilethe inputted number is dis-
played,touch ENTER.
Thisstarts playback from the selected
scene.
Selecting audio output
Youcan switch between stereo and monaural
audiooutput.
!Thisfunction is not possible when disc
playbackhas been stopped.

touchNEXT.
2 TouchL/R SELECT.
3 TouchL+R (left and right), L (left) and R
(right).

!Youcan also switch between stereo and mon-
auralaudio output using AUDIO on the re-
