Setting the automatic openfunction
Toprevent the display from hitting the shift
leverof an automatic vehicle when it is in P
(park)position, or when you do notwish the
displayto open/close automatically, you can
setthe automatic open function in the manual
mode.
Furthermore,to adjust the LCD panel slide po-
sition,you can turn the set back on oroff.
1 TouchA.MENU and SETUP and then
touchFLAP SETTING.
2 Touch andthe LCD panel slides to
theback.
#Touch andthe LCD panel slides to the
front.
3 Touch or to select the display to
open/closeautomatically or manually.
Touch toselect MANUAL, and you have to
pressOPEN/CLOSE to open/close the display.
Touch toselect AUTO, and the display
automaticallyopens/closes when power to
thisunit is turned on.
Setting the clock
Usethese instructions to set the clock.
1 TouchA.MENU and SETUP and then
touchCLOCK ADJUST.
2 TouchOFF to turn the clock display on.
ONwill appear in the display instead of OFF.
Clockdisplay is now on.
#Youcan also turn the clock display on or off by
pressingFLIP DOWN/CLOCK when the LCD
panelis closed.
#Toturn the clock display off, touch ON.
3 Touch or to select the segment of
theclock display you wish to set.
Eachtime you touch or it will select one
segmentof the clock display:
HourMinute
Asyou select segments of the clock display
thesegment selected will be highlighted.
4 Touch or to set the clock.
Eachtime you touch itincreases the se-
lectedhour or minute. Each time you touch
itdecreases the selected hour or minute.
Notes
!Youcan match the clock to a time signal by
touchingJUST.
Ifthe minute is 0029, the minutes are
roundeddown. (e.g., 10:18 becomes
10:00.)
Ifthe minute is 3059, the minutes are
roundedup. (e.g., 10:36 becomes 11:00.)
!Evenwhen the sources are off, the clock dis-
playappears on the display.
