Playing tracks in a random
order
Randomplay lets you play back tracks on the
CDin a random order.

2 Touchato turn random play on.
Trackswill play in a random order.

Scanning tracks of a CD
Scanplay lets you hear the first 10 seconds of
eachtrack on the CD.
1 TouchA.MENU and FUNCTION and then
touchSCAN.
2 Touchato turn scan play on.
Thefirst 10 seconds of each track is played.
3 Whenyou find the desired track touch
btoturn scan play off.
Note
Afterscanning of a CD is finished, normal play-
backof the tracks will begin again.
Pausing CD playback
Pauselets you temporarily stop disc playback.
%Touchfduring playback.
PAUSEappears in the display. Play of the cur-
renttrack pauses.
#Toresume playback at the same point that you
turnedpause on, touch fagain.
Note
Youcan also turn pause function on or off using
PAUSE.To display PAUSE,touch A.MENU and
thentouch FUNCTION.
Searching for a desired track
Youcan use the search function to specify a
trackto search for a desired track.
1 TouchA.MENU and FUNCTION and then
SEARCH.
2 TouchTRACK.
3 Touch09 to input the desired num-
ber.
!Toselect 3, touch 3.
!Toselect 10, touch 1and 0in that order.
!Toselect 23, touch 2and 3in that order.
#Tocancel the inputted numbers, touch C.
#Youcan also input the desired number by
usingthe joystick and 0-9.
