Start Training
1. Wearthe transmitter and the wrist unit.
2. PressOK and select Start training, or
long-pressOK when you want to start recording
yourtraining session.
Tomodify sounds, heart rate view or other training
settingsbefore starting the training session, select
TrainingSettings. See section Settings for more
information.

Yourtraining session is saved only when the

recordinghas been on for more than one minute.

1. Createup to three workouts in
polarpersonaltrainer.comand download the
workout(s)to your FT80. See Transfer Data for
moreinformation.
2. Whenyou have downloaded workouts onto your
FT80,press OK and press DOWN to select
Startstrength training. Press OK to start
yourwarm-up session and after warm-up, press
OKagain. Start workout? is displayed. Select
Yesand press OK. Select the workout and
pressOK. Select the exercise you want to
performfrom the list. Press OK and start your
workoutwith the first set.
