Checkyour OwnZone at least:
• whenyou change training environment or sport.
• whenyou train after more than a week’s break.
• ifyou have not recovered from previous
session/youare not feeling well/are stressed.
• afterchanging your user information.
OwnZonedetermination takes only five minutes,
andcan be performed as a warm-up in any sport.
Iftraining program is activated and you actively
usethis determination, FT80 incorporates your
long-termresults when updating program targets.
1. Wear the transmitter and the wrist unit.
2. Press OK and select Start with OwnZone.
Followthe instructions on the display. Start
slowlykeeping your heart rate below 100 bpm/
50%HRmax. After each minute, increase your
speedgradually about 10 bpm/ 5% HRmax.
•Walkslowly for 1 min.
•Walkat a normal pace for 1 min.
•Walkfast for 1 min.
•Jogfor 1 min.
•Runfor 1 min.
•Speedup.
3. When the individual OwnZone limits are
determinedat some point during the
determination,New limits in use is displayed.
Proceednormally with training.
Troubleshooting
IfOwnZone determination fails, and you have
determinedyour OwnZone limits earlier, Previous
limitsin use is displayed. If you have not
determinedyour OwnZone limits, Age-based
limitsin use is displayed. The OwnZone
determinationfails if the heart rate rises too fast
duringthe OwnZone determination/if the heart
rateis too high at the beginning of the test.
