Checking the ALG registration code

To check the ALG registration code:

1.From the navigation bar, select System.

2.From Registration Status, click License Key.

3.If you do not see a license key, contact Polycom Technical Services.

Telephone doesn't register with the softswitch

If one or more telephones are not registering with the softswitch:

Check the configurations on the VoIP ALG page.

Attempt to ping the softswitch.

To check configurations on the ALG page:

1.From the navigation bar, select VoIP ALG.

2.…and then what? What would they be looking for and what needs to be corrected?

Pinging the softswitch

To ping the softswitch:

1.From the navigation bar, select System.

2.From the System submenu, select Network Test Tools.

3.In IP Address to Ping, enter the softswitch address.

4.Click Ping.
