Purpose Specifies continuous line spacing at 1/8–inch increments (8 lpi).
Comment When
the 1/8–inch line spacing control code is received, all lines are printed at 8 lpi
until
a new line
spacing is selected or the power is reset. The control code line spac
-
ing
selection overrides the control panel line spacing setting and 8 lpi is reflected on
the
display when the 6/8 LPI switch is pressed.
The
value of
n
can only be 6 or 8. When using
SFCC LPI;n in the P–Series mode and
n
= 8, this command sets line spacing to 1/8 inch. V
alues of
n
other than 6 or 8 cause
an error message (Command Line Error Messages are listed on page 6–3).
