Entering the path to a destination folder

Use the following procedure to enter the path to an NDS tree or NetWare server manually.

Select [NCP], and then press {OK}.

Select the connection type. Press [NDS] Press [Bindery] to specify the folder on

to specify the folder in the NDS tree. the NetWare server.

Select [Manual Entry], and then press {OK}.

Enter the destination folder path, and then press {OK}.

If you set the connection type to [NDS], the NDS tree name is “tree”, the name of the context including the volume is “context”, the volume name is “vol- ume”, and the folder name is “folder”, the path will be \\tree\volume.con- text\folder”. If you set the connection type to [Bindery], the NetWare server name is “server”, the volume name is “volume”, and the folder name is “fold- er”, the path will be “\\server\volume\folder”.
