•• Your fax is set for tone dialling. If you are on a pulse onl y dia l line , you m ust

set the fax for pulse dialling by changing Option Sett ing 7. Thi s proc edure is

described in Chapter 8, "Option Settings".

•• If you intend to use a computer fax modem on the sam e ph one line, you must

reset Option Setting 14 (Fax Signal Receive) to NO in order to pr eve nt

transmission and reception errors. This procedure is desc rib ed in Chapte r 8,

"Option Settings".
