Transmittable documents
Your fax can transmit most standard office documents. Specific guidelines are asfollows:
Size and we ight
The size and weight of documents which you can load in the document feeder dependon whether you load one sheet at a time or several sheets at once.One sheet at a time:Several sheets at once:

The area of the document which is scanned by the fax is slightly sma ller t han the ac tu aldocument size. Any letters or graphics out side this ar ea ca nnot be tr ansm it ted.
Scanning width: 8.5" (216 mm) for documents up to 8.9" (226 mm) wide.
Maximum of 10.1" (256 mm) for documents 8.9" (226 mm)
to 11" (280 mm) wide when reduced automatically (see
following note).
Scanning length: The length of the sheet minus 0.16" (4 mm) from both the
top and bottom edges.
Note:
When sending a document wider than 8.9" (226 mm ), you r fax will automatically reducethe width of the image transmitted to 8.0" (2 0 3 mm ). If the do cum en t cont ains f ine pr intor graphics, the copy which the receiving party obtains may be dif f icult t o read du e tothe size reduction. This function is automatically disabled if the printing widt h of thereceiving machine is greater than or equal to the width of the document.
