To cancel dialing before connecting

Click “Cancel”.

To call a remote party registered in the Private Phone Book

1 Insert the “Memory Stick” on which the Private Phone Book is stored into the Memory Stick slot of the system.

The Phone Book contents are switched to the Private Phone Book.

2 Move the mouse cursor to the entry that you want to call, and click “Dial”.

The selected party is called.

Note

If the “Auto Dial” item for the Private Phone Book is set to “On”, the system automatically dials the specified entry when the “Memory Stick” is inserted. For information on specifying an entry, see “To dial a specified entry of the Private Phone Book automatically” on page 40.

To search for an entry in the Phone Book

The Phone Book displays seven entries at a time.

When you select the “ALL” tab, the first seven entries of the Phone Book are shown.

When you select the “0-9”, “A-I”, “J-S”, or “T-Z” tab, the first seven entries starting with the respective letter or numeral are shown.

When there are several pages, a scroll bar will appear at the right side of the screen. To advance to the next page, click the Page button at the bottom of the scroll bar. To go back to the previous page, click the Page button at the top of the scroll bar.

You can also scroll through pages by moving the scroll bar with the mouse.

1 Click (History) in the launcher menu.

The History menu appears.

2 Move the mouse cursor to the entry that you want to call, and click “Dial”.

The selected party is called. The indication “Dialing” appears on the display.

When the connection is established, the indication “Communication starts!” appears.

You can now start the videoconference.

To cancel dialing before connecting

Click “Cancel”.
