3-1 Connections and Settings

3-1-1 Connecting an External Monitor

Connecting a video monitor to the VIDEO OUT 1, VIDEO OUT 2 (SUPER), SDI OUT1, or SDI OUT 2 (SUPER) connector of this unit enables you to see the output video on the monitor screen.

To superimpose text information, for example, time code and alarm messages, use the VIDEO OUT 2 (SUPER) or SDI OUT 2 (SUPER) connector. You can select the kind of text information to display using basic menu item 005

“DISPLAY INFORMATION SELECT.”

Connect a video monitor as example 1or 2shown in the following figure.
