Viewers and editors – Quickoffice
With Quickword and Quicksheet you can view and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents. With Pdf+ you can view Adobe Acrobat (PDF) documents.
When the flip is open there are two views:
List view An alphabetical list of files, for selecting a file to view.
Detail view The contents of a file, for viewing and editing the file.
The applications are also started automatically when selecting and opening attachments to messages.
To save documents to another location (internal or on the Memory Stick) you use folders, see ‘Folders’ on page 27.
The functions available differ depending on the document type. Common functions are similar between the applications and are described first.
Common viewer and editor functions
To open a document from an email or Internet page
Select the document link. The document viewer opens the document in the detail view.
To open a document from the list view
1.Select the Application launcher icon .
2.Select, for example, the Quickword icon .
3.If required, change folder.
4.Scroll to the desired file and select the file name.
5.The document is shown in the detail view.
Quickword
To save and copy the document to a special folder
1.In the list view, select Quickword > Copy to.
2.Select where to save the document, and select Copy.
