5.1 About BIOS Settings
This section describes how to view and modify the BIOS settings.
The BIOS has a Setup utility stored in the BIOS flash memory.The Setup utility
reports system information and can be used to configure the BIOS settings. The
configureddata is provided with context-sensitive help and is stored in the system's
battery-backed CMOS RAM. If the configuration stored in the CMOS RAM is
invalid, the BIOS settings will default to the original state specified at the factory.

5.1.1 Navigating BIOS Screens

The BIOS Setup utility contains menu screens; see AppendixA for illustrations of
the screens.
Use the left and right arrow keys to move sequentially through the BIOS screens.
Fields that can be reconfigured aredisplayed in color. All other fields are
non-configurable. Use the up and down arrow keys to scroll througha screen's
menu. Use the Tabkey to move across columns.

5.1.2 BIOS Option ROMs

The Sun Netra CP3250 blade server has an option ROM for each of the following
components:
Broadcom BCM 5715C base interfaces
Sun 10 GbE Multithreaded Networking Technolgyinterfaces
Note – PXE boot from fabric interface (Sun 10GbE Multithreaded Networking
Technologyinterfaces) is disabled by default. You must change the BIOS setting to
boot from fabric interfaces.
