4Align the printer with the support unit and lower it into place on the tabs.

5Plug the cable into the connector on the back of the printer.

6Load paper in the Tray2. For information about loading paper in the tray, see page 2.6.

7Reconnect the power cord and cables and then turn the printer on.

NOTE: When you print a document, configure the printer driver from your application. To access the printer driver, see page 5.2.

CAUTIONS:Do not remove Tray 1 from the printer while you are

printing using the optional Tray 2. If you do this, a paper jam may

occur. Use the optional Tray 2 with Tray 1.
