Conﬁguration page

The conÞguration page contains extensive information that is useful in

Ethernet installation and troubleshooting network problems.

There are two ways to generate the conÞguration page:

■Use the printer’s rear panel switches.

1.Make sure Switch 2, Switch 3, and Switch 4 are in the down position (the default position).

2.Set Switch 4 up.

The printer generates the conÞguration page as soon as you set Switch 4 up.

3.When the conÞguration page has printed out, reset Switch 4 to down.

■Send a PostScript language ﬁle to the printer.

The Phaser 480X CD-ROM and diskettes include a PostScript Þle for PCs (PRNTCNFG.PS) and a Macintosh utility (Conﬁguration Page) for printing the conÞguration page. For detailed instructions, refer to the Phaser 480X Drivers and Utilities Printing Reference.
