Getting Set Up 2

Connecting to a single computer

Follow these steps if you are connecting the printer directly to your computer via LocalTalk:

1.Make sure that the printer is turned off before making any LocalTalk connections.

2.Connect the short cable of a LocalTalk connector to your computerÕs LocalTalk port.

3.Connect the short cable of a second LocalTalk connector to the printerÕs LocalTalk port.

4.Connect a LocalTalk cable between the two LocalTalk connectors you have just attached to your computer and your printer.
