Printing 3

Note If you are using the standard LaserWriter driver, select

U.S Letter, A4 Letter, Tabloid, A3 Tabloid, or Tabloid Extra paper sizes.

b.Click the TekColor button in the Print dialog box to open the TekColor Options dialog box, in which you can select the TekColor color corrections and media type options. If you are printing color separations from one of the supported applications, you can use the Combine Separations option to print the separations as a single Þle. For more details on the driver, refer to the Phaser 480X Drivers and Utilities Printing Reference.

Note Make sure that you load the same type of media in the paper tray that you select in the printer driver. Failure to do so will result in a ruined image: selecting Paper and printing on transparency causes washed-out colors; selecting Transparency and printing on paper causes over-saturated (dark) colors.

The CD-ROM and the Macintosh Printer Utilities diskette contain the PhaserPrint plug-in Þle for use with Photoshopª and Phaser 480X printers. Use this plug-in within the Photoshop application to improve the image data transfer time from your Macintosh to your printer. For instructions on installing and using PhaserPrint, refer to the Phaser 480X Drivers and Utilities

Printing Reference.
