5.Type in the drive that the

6.Select your printer from the list of printers and click OK. The driver software you need is automatically installed.
7.Assign the printer to a port:
a.Select the printer from the list of Installed Printers.
b.Select the Set As Default Printer button if you want this printer to be the default.
c.Select the Connect button to display the Connect dialog box.
d.In the Connect dialog box, set the Transmission Retry value to 850. Refer to your Windows documentation for details.
e.In the Connect dialog box, select a port:

■If you selected a parallel port: Go on to Step f.
■If you selected a serial port:
Click on the Settings button to open the Settings dialog box. Fill in each item according to the printerÕs conÞguration page, then click OK. Refer to your Windows documentation for details or ask your network administrator for help.
■If you selected a network port:
Click the Network button. The Printers – Network Connections dialog box appears. Fill in each item according to the printerÕs conÞguration page; then click OK. Refer to Windows documentation for details, or ask your network administrator for help.
