Adding paper

Follow these steps to add paper to the paper tray.

Note This procedure assumes you are loading B-size paper into the standard paper tray. All sizes of paper and transparency are loaded in the same way. For information on other paper sizes and the optional paper tray, refer to “Setting paper and transparency size” on page 3-8. For information on loading transparencies, see “Loading paper and transparencies” on page 3-11.

1.Place the paper tray on a ßat surface so that the side with the spring-loaded metal plate is farthest away from you.

2.Remove the plastic cover.
