eachfunctionisfoundinthefunctionsummarytableatthestartoftherelevantSETUP,
COMMISSIONINGorCALIBRATIONmodechapter.
ENTERkey
TheENTERkeysetsthecurrentlydisplayedoptionandstoresthevalueinnonvolatilememorytobe
retrievedondevicestartup.IftheENTERkeyisnotpressedwhenanewoptionischosen,the
previousoptionwillberetained.
Probeimpedancekey
Whenthiskeyispressedthetransmitterwillmeasuretheimpedanceofoxygensensor(s)attachedto
thetransmitter.Iftheburnerisnotenabled(terminals10&11)ortheprobetemperatureisbelow
700°C(1292°F)impedancecheckingwillnotbeperformed.A‘Z’willbeseeninthebottomlefthand
cornerofthedisplayasthetestisperformed.
Autocalibratekey
Whenthiskeyispressedthetransmitterwillcalibratetheanalogueoutputchannelsthataresetto
autocalibration(seechapter10).Thisisperformedbydirectingtheoutputcurrentawayfromthe
outputterminals(terminals12&13and14&15)backtoananalogueinputtothetransmitterinorder
tocalculateazeroandspancalibrationfactorforeachoftheoutputchannels.
Duringthisprocessnormaloutputtotheanaloguechannelswillbeinterruptedsendingtheoutputsto
zeromA.
