7.2.1InternalDate/Time
Thedateandtimeareusedinthetransmittertoruntimebasedoperationssuchasimpedance
readingsandgascalibrationchecks.Thecorrectdateandtimeshouldbeenteredbypressingand
holdingtheOPTIONUP&DOWNkeys.ThedateandtimewillchangefasterthelongertheOPTION
keyisheld.
7.2.2ServiceDate
Theservicedatecanbeusedtokeeparecordofwhenaprobewaschanged.TheRUNTIMEtimer
whichkeepsatrackofthehoursandminutesthatthetransmitterandprobehasbeenoperatingis
resetwhentheservicedateischanged.
TheservicedateandtheruntimetimercanbedisplayedaslowerlineitemsinRUNmode.
7.2.3NumberofProbes
The9060Ztransmittercanoperateinsingleordualprobemode.Byselectingsingleprobe,alldual
probeoptionsandalarmswillbedisabledandsecondprobeoptionshiddenfromtheuser.
Ifyouareusingthetransmitterasasingleprobedeviceyoushouldsetthenumberofprobesto
‘singleprobe’todisableallprobe2alarmsanddisplayitems.
7.2.4Probe1&2Type
Theprobetypefunctionallowsaselectionbetweenaheatedprobeandanunheatedprobetypes.
Heatercontrolandalarmswillbedisabledifunheatedprobetypeisselected.
7.2.5Probe1&2ThermocoupleType
ThethermocoupletypecanbesettoK,J,RorS.ThethermocoupleintheTeledyneAnalytical
Instruments9060HheatedprobesarealwaysKtype.9060UL/UHunheatedprobesareavailableinR
typeorStype.Otherthermocoupleoptionsaremadeavailableforspecialinstallations.
7.2.6AuxiliaryThermocoupleType
Whenthetransmitterisoperatingasasingleprobemode,theprobe2thermocoupleinput(terminals
7&8)isusedasanauxiliarythermocoupleinput.Indualprobemodethisoptionisunavailable.
Useofanauxiliarythermocoupleallowsforbasicmonitoringoftemperatureaswellasenablingthe
calculationofcombustionefficiency.ThethermocoupletypecanbesettoK,J,RorS.
7.2.7TransmitterOutputChannel1&2
The9060Ztransmitterhastwofullyconfigurable420mAanalogueoutputs.Thechannelscanbe
configuredindependentlytooutputoneofseveralcalculatedvalues.

