When LAN is specified in the Inte rface drop-d own
menu, thi s filter wil l apply to packets that have one
of the s pecified IP addresses as their source , and
are sent from a PC on your LAN.
When WAN is specified in the Inte rface drop-d own
menu, thi s filter wil l apply to packets that have one
of the s pecified IP addresses as their source , and
are sent from a PC on the WAN (In ternet).
If Both i s selected, then this ru le will appl y to
packets t hat are sent from PCs on both the WA N
and your LAN.
Destinati on
When LAN is specified in the Inte rface drop-d own

and are being sent to a PC on your LAN.
When WAN is specified in the Inte rface drop-d own
menu, thi s filter wil l apply to packets that have one
of the s pecified IP addresses as their destin ation,
and are being sent to a PC on the WAN (Interne t).
If Both i s selected, then this ru le will appl y to
packets t hat are bein g sent to PCs on both th e
WAN and y our LAN.
