Waiting For A Line (Queuing)

If all the lines in a line group are busy, you can place your telephone in a queue to await an idle line.

To queue for a line group,

1.PRESS INTERCOM.

2.DIAL the line group access code (see Line Group Access code table on page 68 for your system’s codes).

3.HEAR busy tone.

4.DIAL ￿￿.

If you have line appearance for a particular line and wish to queue for it,

1.OBSERVE the busy status light (LED).

2.PRESS INTERCOM.

3.DIAL ￿￿.

4.PRESS line button.

5.When line group is free, your telephone sounds several short tone bursts. When you hear this, lift handset, hear dial tone, and place call.

To cancel line queuing or line group queuing,

1.PRESS INTERCOM.

2.DIAL ￿￿.
