Basic operation
From the base unit to the handset
• During a call, press H OLD to put the call on hold.
• Press I NTERCOM, and use the softkey or to scroll to the desired
handset and press the softkey SELECT to c onrm.
• When the target handset rings, pres s /FLASH or on the handset to
answer.
• Press INTERCO M on the base unit to transfer the call.
• Press /FLASH or press on the desti nation handset to p ick up the
call on hold.
Intercom call

Answer an incoming call during an inter com call
• During an intercom call, there will be an alert tone which signals an incoming
call.
• To terminate the interc om call without answeri ng the incoming call, press
/CLEAR on the han dset, or press IN TERCOM at the base u nit. The
base unit will ring and the incoming cal l can be answered normally.
• To connect th e incoming call with the intercom call, press /FLASH or
on the handset, or press /S PEAKERPHONE at the base unit to
answer the incoming call.
