Handset and base indicators
Mute indicator
• Flashes when the han dset microphone is muted.
Ringer off indicator
• displays when the ringer is turned off.
Battery indicator
• When the handset is re moved from the charger, this lets you know the
level of charge in the battery, from FULL( ) to EMPTY ( ).
• Cycles (low, medium, and fu ll) when handset battery is chargi ng.
• Flashes when a low bat tery condition is detected.
New message indicator
• Flashes when there i s a new message in the answer system.
Line in use indicator
• On when an extension handset or parallel set i s in use.
Hold indicator
• Flashes when a call is on hold.
