Record a sound clip by using the microp hone
• Press MENU/S EL when in idle mode.
• Press the UP NavKey three tim es to reach Sounds, and press MENU /SEL to select.
• Press the DOWN NavKey on ce to reach Re cord Sound Clips, and press MENU/SE L to
select.
• Press MENU/S EL to select Using Microphone, and the s creen displays Record afte r tone.
• Position your audio source facing the handset microphone and the handset wi ll start recor ding
after the beep.
• Press the softkey STO P when nished.
• Press the soft key PLAY to listen to the sound cli p you just recorded. Press the softkey STOP to
stop playing anytime.
• Press the softkey SAVE to save this so und clip.
• Use the dial pad to enter the S ound Clip Name (up to ten characters).
• Press the softkey SET when nished. The scre en displays Sound Clip saved, and there will be
a conrmation tone.
• When yo u
want to use the
microphone on
the handset to
record ringers,
do not insert the
audio patch cord
into the headset
jack.
