Edit a phonebook
You can either open an existing phonebook stored in your PC’s hard drive by pressing the OPEN
PHONEBOOK button using the phonebook manager soft ware, or by tr ansferring the
phonebook from your h andset to the pho nebook manager sof tware using the supplied USB cabl e.
To accomplish this:
• Connect your hands et to your PC using the USB cable.
• Start the phone book manager application on your PC.
• Verify t he connection by ensuring the gre en icon on the s tatus bar. (If it is not, re-co nnect the
handset to the PC with the USB cable.)
• Press the Phonebo ok tab.
• Press the Transfer button.
• Using the phonebook manager softw are, edit the phonebook entries. At this time you can also add
new entries or import contacts from ot her programs such as Microsof t Outlook® or Palm®, etc.
• When nished editing the phon ebook, s ave it to your PC’s hard drive by pressing the SAVE
PHONEBOOK button. To transfer the newly edited phonebook to your han dset, use
the transfer phonebook button.
