Make sure you have t he ringer ac tivated. Refer to the secti on(s) on ringer selection in this
user’s manual.
Make sure the telephone line cord is plug ged rmly into the base unit and the telephone jack.
Make sure the power cord is plugged in.
The handset may be too far fro m the base unit.
Charge th e battery in the handset for 16 hours. For optimum daily performanc e, return the
handset to its base unit when not in use.
You may have too m any extension telephon es on your telephone line to allow all of them to
ring. Try unplugging some of the other telephon es.
The layout of your home or ofce might be limiting the operating range. Try moving the telephone
base to another location, preferably on an up per oor.
If the other telephones in your home are having the issue, the problem is in your wiring or local
service. Contact your local telep hone company (charges may apply).
Test a working telephone at the telephone jack. If another telephone has the same problem, the
problem is the telephone jack. Contac t your local telephone company (charge s may apply).
Other electron ic products can cause interfer ence with your cordless telephon e. Try installing
your telephone as far away from these types of electronic devices as possible: wireless routers,
radios, radio towers, pager towers, cell phones, intercoms, room monitors, televisions, personal
computers, kitchen appliances an d other cordless telephones
Your line cord might be malfunc tioning. Try installing a new line cord.
