To Stop Engine, Chain Brake Operational Test

5-3.RE-STARTING A WARM ENGINE 1. Make sure the switch is in the ON position.

2. Move the choke lever to (HALF).

3. Depress the primer bulb 10 times.

4. Set the throttle latch.

5. Pull the starter rope rapidly 4 times. The engine should start. 6. Move the choke lever to (RUN).

N7. Release the throttle latch.

G5-4. TO STOP ENGINE

L1. Release trigger and allow engine to return to idle speed.

I2. Move STOP switch down to stop engine.

SNOTE: For emergency stopping, simply activate CHAIN BRAKE® and move STOP switch down.

H5-5. CHAIN BRAKE® OPERATIONAL TEST

Test the CHAIN BRAKE® periodically to ensure proper function.

Perform a CHAIN BRAKE® test prior to initial cutting, following extensive cutting, and definitely following any CHAIN BRAKE® service.

TEST CHAIN BRAKE® AS FOLLOWS:

1.Place saw on a clear, firm, flat surface.

2.Start engine.

5-3. REDEMARRAGE D’UN MOTEUR CHAUD

1.S’assurer que l’interrupteur de contact est sur la position marche.

2.Placer le starter sur la position (MI-GAZ).

3.Appuyer 10 fois sur la pompe d’amorçage.

4.Bloquer la pré-accélération.

5.Tirer rapidement sur le cordon du lanceur à quatre reprises. Le moteur devrait démarrer.

F6. Placer le starter sur la position (MARCHE). R 7. Relâcher le bouton du pré-accélérateur.

A	5-4. ARRET DU MOTEUR
N	1. Relâcher la gâchette et laisser le moteur tourner au ralenti.

C2. Pousser l’interrupteur vers la position ARRET (STOP).

Iposition ARRET (STOP).

S5-5. TEST OPERATIONNEL DU CHAIN BRAKE®

Tester CHAIN BRAKE® périodiquement pour en assurer son bon fonctionnement.

Tester CHAIN BRAKE® avant toute coupe, après tout abattage extensif, et surtout après toute réparation.

ETAPES POUR TEST DE CHAIN BRAKE® :

1.Placer la tronçonneuse sur une surface dégagée, ferme et plane.

2.Faire démarrer le moteur.

5-3. PARA VOLVER A ENCENDER EL MOTOR CALIENTE

1.Asegurese que el interruptor de apagado està en ENCENDIDO.

2.Accione el ahogador hacia (MITAD).

3.Apriete el bulbo de cebado 10 veces.

4.Asegure el avance del acelerador.

5.Jale el hilo de encendido rápidamente 4 veces el motor debe de encender.

6.Accione el ahogador hacia (MARCHA).

E7. Libere el seguro del acelerador.

S	5-4. PARA APAGAR EL MOTOR
P	1. Libere el gatillo y permita que el motor regrese a la velocidad de marcha en neutral.

A2. Mueva el interruptor de APAGADO hacia abajo.

ÑNOTA: Para un apagado de emergencia, simplemente active el CHAIN BRAKE® y mueva el interruptor de O apagado hacia abajo.

L5-5. PRUEBA OPERACIONAL DEL CHAIN BRAKE®

Pruebe el CHAIN BRAKE® periodicamente para asegurarse de que funcione correctamente.

Realice la prueba del CHAIN BRAKE® antes de iniciar el cortado, después de un cortado extenso y definiti- vamente después de cualquier servicio del CHAIN BRAKE®.

PRUEBE EL CHAIN BRAKE® COMO SIGUE:

1.Ponga la sierra en una superficie firme, plana y limpia.

2.Encienda el motor.
