Job 2: multiple pages

1Load all pages in the automatic document feeder of the scanner. Place the pages according to the drawing on the scanner.

2Press Fax/Scan Mode repeatedly until Enter Phone # appears on the control panel display.

3Enter the fax recipient phone number on the numeric keypad.

4Press Go/Send.

Job 3: mixed content (text and graphics)

1Place the document on the flatbed of the scanner.

2Press Fax/Scan Mode repeatedly until Enter Phone # appears on the control panel display.

3Enter the fax recipient phone number on the numeric keypad.

4Press Content repeatedly until mixed is selected.

5Press Fax Resolution repeatedly until fine is selected.

6Press Go/Send.

Job 4: photo (400 x 400 dpi)

1Place the photo on the flatbed of the scanner.

2Press Fax/Scan Mode repeatedly until Enter Phone # appears on the control panel display.

3Enter the fax recipient phone number on the numeric keypad.

4Press Content repeatedly until photo is selected.

5Press Fax Resolution, and then select ultra fine.

6Press Go/Send.

Job 5: colored original (credit card receipt)

1Make a black and white copy of your original. This often produces a document that is much clearer and more easily faxed.

2Place the copy on the flatbed of the scanner.

3Press Fax/Scan Mode repeatedly until Enter Phone # appears on the control panel display.

4Enter the fax recipient phone number on the numeric keypad.

5Press Content repeatedly until mixed is selected.
