The following shows the error code indicated on the status code display. When an error code is indicated, take the corrective action described here.

The temperature of the light-source lamp is abnormally high.

The light-source lamp cannot be turned on.

The side panel of the projector is broken away.

Check the exhaust vents and remove any blocking objects.

The lamp life may be near its end. Consult your dealer.

Check that the side panel of the is fixed firmly. Consult your dealer.

The internal shutter is activated.

Open the internal shutter by pressing the remote control unit’s SHUTTER OFF button.

The lamp life may be near its end. (“80” for 900 hours, “81” for 1000 hours)

Consult you dealer to replace the light-source lamp.

The internal temperature of the projector is abnormally high.

Check the exhaust vents and intake area, and remove any blocking objects.

Turn off the MAIN POWER switch and wait until the projector cools down, and turn on the MAIN POWER switch again.

If the error code is still indicated, consult your dealer.

The room temperature is too high to operate the projector correctly.

Check the room temperature and ventilate the room.

• The lamp is turned off while projecting. • There may be something wrong in the light-source lamp unit. Turn off the MAIN POWER switch and unplug the power cord, then consult your dealer.
